How to Build Your Own Unregulated Wood Box Mod
With a bit of woodworking skills, you can create a one-of-a-kind piece.
Step 1: Wood

Now that you have the inside carved for each half, cut the pieces out and clamp them together.
Step 4: Sanding
Now comes the slow process of sanding. Start with a router to round the corners. Then, sand by hand to finish the shaping and smooth the entire box. Use 220-, 400-, and 600-grit sandpaper. Then, mark and drill holes for the connector and button.
Step 5: Finishing
Finish the pieces with oil to make the wood grain pop.
Step 6: Electronics
The final step is to super-glue the magnets and solder the electronics. Once everything is installed, glue the two halves together.
