Replacement for Nautilus Mini that won't get stuck?

I bought the Aspire premium kit with the Nautilus Mini, but I can't get it open to fill it for the first time. I've read all kinds of advice, but nothing works. (Rubber gloves, hot/cold water, rubber bands, channel lock pliers, blocking the airhole and blowing in to relieve pressure, thumbtack in the ring, etc.) I got it from Mt. Baker Vapor and it looks like I'll be able to exchange it.

However, I'm worried this isn't going to work out. I bought this for my elderly mother, and there's no way she'll be able to assemble it regularly if it's even half as hard to open. It's a disappointment, because I finally convinced her to try vaping instead of smoking so that we could spend time together, and now she has the impression that vaping is too much trouble to be worthwhile.

Is there some replacement I can get that would use the battery from this kit but be easier to use for a beginner who isn't very strong?

It is really nice what your trying do to for your mom. I use Nautilus Minis as my all day work vape, and with a high VG juice, it does become very difficult to get the bottom off to fill the tank sometimes. Maybe try an Innokin IClear 30 tank. It is a top fill tank that is easy to fill, clean, and change coils. Flavor is good too. Good luck, and welcome to VU.

I have two Nautilus Minis and have to use a wrench to get the damn bottom off to refill.. total PITA. I get good flavor and vapor out of them though, so I keep using them. I just got two Eleaf GS tanks and those are much easier to use... air control feature is really nice. Kanger Aerotanks and Protank 3s are good too.. easy to take apart and clean and easy to refill.

The other option might be a big tank like the Atlantis Mega which has knurling at the base.Unfortunately this tank has a super-wide drip-tip.Which might not be to your mom's liking.

You can try the Atlantis v1 with a triton coil. It holds 2ml and I use a 1.8 coil and it is perfection.

That Atlantis Mega I mentioned holds 5ml uses the same 1.8ohm coil and is going to be far easier for an elderly person to use.
It is bigger in every way which is always a plus for people with bad/old hands and the knurling is easier to grab onto.My hands are frelled most days due to severe nerve damage and I ain't exactly a spring chicken.

Good point! I just thought they were looking for a size close to the mini nautilus.
