It's such a bad day.... My mod got stuck and I won't be able to unscrew the tube, so I took it to the bathroom and trying to rinse the whole body, but accident happens, I dropped the silver plated contact pin for the firing button, I tried to retrieve it but no luck. It's long gone now..... I talked to drew over in JD Tech and he told me the replacement button will cost me $50... $50 for a lost pin is not worth it IMO, as I looked it up online, only thing pops up is fasttech's silver plated Brass contact, and it also comes as a button. Or it's vapor range's replacement button, which comes roughly around $15, but I'm not sure if it is the same as Fasttech's.
Guys, please help, I just need a replacement contact pin (Silver plated copper only......)

Thanks

Where did you drop it? Down the drain? If so, its sitting inside the p trap under the sink. Look under there and you'll see the pipe with the bend in it and two collars you can fit a wrench on. Loosten the collars, remove the trap, get your pin, and put the sink back together. Ezpz.

Damn, sorry to hear it. Unfortunately I don't have any other advice for ya, but hopefully someone will come along to help. $50 for a pin is insulting, at best.

It definitely is, I do have the option of grabbing a brass contact off fast tech though. But I want copper for better conductivity....

I would think your silver plated contact would conduct better than copper, since silver is a better conductor, and electrons flow on the outside surface of the conductor. But I'm no electrical engineer !!

Oh, so silver plated brass contact doesn't really matters?

I don't think it does matter as I understand it. Brass is a stronger material than copper anyway, and the electrons will be flowing over the silver.

Fat daddy vapes sells a positive pin upgrade, it also shortens the throw of the switch.
