Resistance changing after about 16 hours, why?

I got a free dripper a while back and decided to learn to build on it so when my two nice ones come in I get some practice before working with them.

I did my second build late last night. took some fiddling but I got them both firing equally and it was right at .3, which seems to be a good one for this dripper. about 16 hours later its reading .42. Did I do something wrong that caused that change?

I always re-tighten the post screws after pulsing the coil and glowing it evenly because as metal expands with heat the screws get a little loose and need to be given one final tightening, this of course assuming that all other factors are taken care of, connection stable at the base/post itself, positive pin tightened, spring on the mod's 510 is not stiff and is making a stable connection.

Also you did not say what wire you were using? changing room temperature would change the resistance of a TC wire but not by that much.
