Hello! I am new here but have done alot of research and attempted many solutions with no resolve.

Basically I have the reuleaux dna200 and it works great! But as of late when I leave it sitting and idle for about 20m or so it won't fire back on. This started happening after I used Escribe to attempt a custom theme, which it was fine, then I did a full factory reset and hard reboot.

Then later it turned off wouldn't turn on, took out batteries put back in didn't work, I plugged in a micro USB and it came back on, but it came back on with my old settings before the factory reset and I was highly confused.

Now it does it every20m or so after not using it, using it it's fine, but I leave it idle and it just turns off, I basically "jump start it" with a micro usb to get it working.

Attempted fully draining batteries, using the recovery recharge in escribe then doing factory reset/hard reboot and vice versa.

The mod still registers in Escribe even with the batteries out which means the boards good, and it charges fine while plugged in and works fine just like it goes idle for so long it just shuts off and no amount of clicks or combinations fix it. Has to be "jump started" everytime.

Anyone have ANY insight on this? maybe batteries are faulty? maybe my firmware is messed up now? I attempted full factory resettings then updating firmware/not updating and still nothing.

Please looking for ANY solutions to this problem its quite annoying.

Thank you ahead of time

I suggest you get the original settings for the mod and input them, make sure you have the right battery selected, which is Liion, not LiPO, use the calc to figure out the Watt Hours and plug that in as well.
I'm quite new to DNA 200 and escribe, been learning and have learned alot, also thanks for the suggestion!!

Where about could I find the "original settings" for the mod. and yes I made sure that was selected. Also on the battery test all of my LG hg2's came up with the proper voltage and drainage.

Thanks for that link much appreciated! Do I just open it up then hit "upload to device" I assume?

And yeah I found a super awesome profile for my HG2's that made the battery life amazing but i will definitely Give that one a try as well!

Thank you very much for your help, The customization of this device is amazing and I really like tinkering with it and learning, just the problem is of course a problem lol.

here are some battery profiles to use including the LG HG2, Samsung 25R's and more. All kinds of goodies.

Update. Did as you said, downloaded the stock settings from Reauleaux, uploaded to device, did a hard reboot, updated firmware did it again.

im suspecting the batteries at this point, may pick some new ones up to test. Thank you for your response and education.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but 2 things come to mind.
1. The battery rings may be getting in the way of one or more of you positive battery contacts.
2. You can go into the Device manager of Escribe, click on Cell 1 and Cell 2 and fire the device. Take a look at how the batteries are sagging.

Cheers,
Steve

I have a friend who's battery rings have caused issues and I think Grimm Green had issues with them as well.
