So, for a definitive answer, are Samsung 25Rs okay to use with the Reuleaux RX200? The specs recommend 25 amp batteries, and the 25Rs are rated at 20 amp continuous.

I probably won't need anything over 150 watts, but who knows? I want to be able to run some bulky coils in it. I have a parallel mech, but it really falls short on the ramp up time on, say, a framed staple coil. Or even a dual alien build using lower gauges for the core wires.

I don't see why not. Lets say the RX200 would let you run your batteries down to 3.33, 3.33, and 3.34v. That would be 10V (since they are in series). Wattage = Voltage X Current (Amps) you would have 10 X 20 = 200watts.

I'm pretty sure it would shut off before letting the batteries get that low, they would be severely discharged by that point. Most people don't run their 18650's down lower than 3.5v each. Most people don't run at 200 watts either lol

Cheers,
Steve

I ordered some 20 amp batts too just cause I don't plan on ever using 100watts even.

For what it's worth I'm using 25r's in my rx200. I plan on finding a better trio at some point soon but the 25r's are doing fine. Had issues finding anything when I first got mine and settled for what there was locally. Last place I went to had Imren or Samsung 25r. I went 25r.
