Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds recently penned an emotional tribute to thirteen-year-old Deadpool superfan Connor McGrath, who died earlier this week after a three-year battle with cancer.
In the letter, posted on Reynolds' Facebook (via Los Angeles Times), the actor recalled how he came to know Connor, and wrote in length about the kind of person he was.
Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Connor became the first person to see Deadpool. Reynolds traveled to Edmonton, Alberta and showed him a "rough cut of the film," complete with "wires we hadn't yet painted out, jokes which weren't working (and still aren't) and green screens." None of which Connor seemed to mind, wrote Reynolds.
