So I have 120ml plastic bottle sizes that I tried to heat steep in my rice cooker on the warm setting. This is my first time trying this method after being urged by friends to give it a shot.
I put the bottles in zip lock baggies, filled my rice cooker with water and let them sit on the 'keep warm' setting overnight while I slept. I woke up this morning and went to check on them. It looks like the bottles are slightly bowed, warped and rounded on the bottom now. there was a tiny bit of water that looks like it seeped into the baggies. Not sure if it got into the bottles. But my bottles look extra full now.
My question is, does the pg/vg and juice expand with heat? Or did my bottles just shrink making them appear to be fuller? They are super thin at 70vg, but thats to be expected from the heat.
Did I just ruin all my juice??
