Rig V2 issues

So I just bought a rig V2/roughneck v2 literally one week ago. I'm no vaping efficionado or anything but I'm having an issue that is pissing me off to no end. I picked this mod up because of its quality and durability reviews. This mod fired instantly with nice strong consistent hits for 6 days. Day 7 with a fresh battery at 4.2V and a .13 build on it, takes a solid second or two of holding the button for any vapor production. Changed the coils, checked all the screws, tried 3 different fully charged batteries with no luck. Since I am still awaiting a response from VAMP, anyone on here have any input?

Clean it. Specially switch, take it apart and clean every piece. Clean all contact areas as well. Copper has tendency to oxidize rather quickly , brass as well. Not even stainless is stain proof. Then there is a dirt factor that can impair the function as well. .13 coil on fresh battery should fire up in exploding manner:)

Easy way... Glass full of winegar or concentrated lemon juice ( supermarket) , take it apart and soak it for 10-15 min. Brush all treads with toothbrush. Soak it again if not clean and shiny. Longer it seats in, cleaner it gets. Switch is the most important so take it down into pieces. Do not clean assembled switch. There is no way to do it properly.
Once you are happy with cleanliness of your mod rinse it in HOT water and dry it. Once it's dry and doesn't smell like lemon/ vinegar you can out it back together.

Agreed. Complete disassembly, cleaning and inspection. Should have done that before you ever used it and regularly there after.

Never had an issue with my Rig mods. I agree it must have something causing a high resistance. Do you have the tool to remove the button from the bottom? It's a necessity for any Rig owner. Field strip all the way down and clean. Vinegar works wonders on copper, is cheap and safe.
