During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con today, Rihanna was revealed to be playing Marion Crane, in the fifth and final season of Bates Motel.
The character Marion Crane, first portrayed by actress Janet Leigh, has become synonymous with Psycho and the horror genre when she was famously murdered in the shower by Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 film Psycho.
The panel also confirmed Vera Farmiga will return full time as Norma Bates in season five, who said, when asked about Rihanna, "I'm excited to work work work with her!"
