What @Panther1911 said. I almost never let mine air dry, tanks or RDA's, I just use plenty of paper towels and get it dry. It's fine to fire with the coils still a bit wet, especially to help burn and wipe off any crud. Just make sure, obviously everything is fairly dry, and anything connecting to your mod is completely dry. Water and electrical connection = bad, on a coil, it's just a heating element, juice makes it wet, too. You're good.

I do it all the time as well.

After a new coil has been fitted and tested, I will pulse it until it gets red hot and then quench it under running water before wicking it. All coils will eventually turn black from gunk buildup, so then I will remove the wick and repeat this process to burn the gunk off the coil before re-wicking it.

I always hold the mod at a downward angle so no water can get down in there. Have never had a problem.

An air compressor with an air control tip works awsome for drying wet attys.

i rinse and just blow the water off. so it's still wet. dry it off best I can without compressed air. then connect to battery, dry burn brush off the ash. and it's good to go. i used to use canned air but ran out so i don't do that anymore.

I do it all the time as well. I have had some China stuff rust on me before, so anytime I rinse a atty, I always dry it off with a paper towel and blow it dry. It's good to blow the deck as dry as you can, then do some pulsing of the coils to get any gunk off and it will also dry it the rest of the way out too with the heat of the coils evaporating the left over water. Also, make sure to blow real good on the 510 connection. Water tends to collect there on some attys and you don't want any rust of water dripping down into your mods 510 once you screw it on.

There's no need to wait an hour after you rinse the atty out if you dry with paper towl, blow dry, and pulse the coils. That will get most all the water out. As a good rule of thumb I will usually set it on a paper towl on my desk for an extra 10 minutes or so just in case any small amount of water was left over.

Yup - same here.

I never rinse my RDAs, mainly because I feel no need to, but also because I'm lazy. But yeah, I hear water is pretty harmless, if you insist on doing that.

I do it whenever I need to rewick as well. I just use a paper towel, and blow out the airholes. When I dry burn I just crank my mod to the max wattage (30) and pulse and the gunk comes right off without having to rake it.
