Ok this is the PM I sent to Smokey Dumbass with no real response;
I have been a member of ECF since Oct '15 & have learned so much & enjoyed myself so much I went ahead & became a Supporting & Verified Member! But due to recent events involving Roxynoodle I'm finding myself rethinking my dedication to your site! Mostly because of the way this situation was handled! I understand why the rules for suppliers are what they are & have seen them being enforced in a timely manner! Either because they were reported by a member or a moderator finding them! Which brings me to my point; If the thread in question was done by an unregistered supplier why did it go on so long without being reported by a member or one of the moderators that stopped by & posted? Then in a complete overreaction deleted in it's entirety instead of being just shut down & archived! There was a lot of information posted by others that now that I have my Boreas would have been very helpful to me! The last thing that bothers me is the timing of the whole thing! The day before the Members who bought one were supposed receive theirs! Probably not planned but it sure looks to be! Requiring Roxynoodle to register as a supplier for a company she has no monetary relationship with & charging her a fee & restrict her to a small thread isn't punative it's destructive for a person who barely makes it by on disability!
Although I know you're not required to give an explaination for this I firmly believe the membership as a whole deserves one! Thank you for your time Smokey Joe.
Sent basically the same message to Admin on the contact page & no response!
I don't know but if I got a message from a Supporting Member in good standing I would be all over it! But right now I'm feeling ignored!
I also asked Admin about removing my Supporting Member status!
