Life sucks, buy a cheap beater mod for the time being, and save back up for another Ruby. I cannot stand the trend these days to create a GoFundMe for absolutely everything. A lot of us work extremely hard for the things that we have, and completely understand the heartbreak when something of yours is stolen, but that does not warrant donations to get you another $200+ mod. I can understand using it for fundraising for a good cause, but lately all I have been seeing are people who refuse to manage their finances, or spend within their limits, using it to buy themselves things, take vacations, and generally use it as a supplement to their income. Quit bitching, get out there, bust your ass, make some extra cash, and buy a new one.
Buy yourself a cheap little regulated mod, or clone tube, and use it for the time being to get you by until you can afford one yourself. Life sucks, and the only way to grow is to take the bad experiences, put it behind you, and move forward with your life. There are many members here who barely could afford a cheap basic mod, and didnt once ask for a handout, instead did what they had to do to be able to afford something to get started. If you had the money to buy a Ruby at retail cost before, you will have the money to do it again.
