Sorry. Mine did the same thing. Jacked the adapter down on it. My wife use's it with her K1's.

The threads were only stripped at the top on mine , I screwed the slighty crooked adapter down, ALL the way, with my pliers. Makes good contact, told Mel to never unscrew the adapter again. Not really any fix that aint a PIA.
I am thinkin i over tightened it ugh
