RX 200 screen flim?

Is there a plastic film on the RX 200 screen?
I can't tell and don't want to scratch my screen
attempting to peel off the film if there isn't any.
I know...I'm half blind. ;-)

Yes, there is piece of film over the screen (RX200) peeled mine off yesterday but in hindsight wish I left it on. Dna200 does not have it

Yep, peeled mine off a few minutes ago.
Doubles the screen brightness.
Nice and clear.

Can't seem to find one on mine..don't want to scratch it trying to peel something that may not even be there, lol

If your readout seems to be on the fuzzy side or dim, the film is there.
I too was hesitant at first. But took my time and started in one corner with my fingenail and sure enough, the film peeled off.
Now my screen is twice as bright as before.

Took a little patience but indeed that film peeled off...thanks Willie!!

Yup it does, but damnt!! It's so damn hard to remove, I might remove the whole damn screen

I started at a corner with my fingernail..
Very easy! Took about two minutes for both mods..screen so bright now I can read it sunlight..
