Ryan Reynolds has said he will never play another comic book character apart from Deadpool.
When IGN asked Reynolds if he'd be interested in reprising his role as Hal Jordan in a future Green Lantern movie, he replied: "I never want to play another comic book character again; Deadpool, I would like to play for the rest of my life – that'd be fun.
"No, I've done a number of them, and I think it's time for other people to do them now. You've got to share the wealth on that one."
Martin Campbell's Green Lantern, starring Reynolds, came out in 2011 and did badly both critically and commercially. Warner Bros. is currently planning a reboot under the title of Green Lantern Corps, slated to come out sometime in 2020, though out of the current wave of DC films in the works the least is known about this production.
