Honestly, I think the OP did the right thing. Why do we even have forums such as this if not to educate and help each other out? How do you guys expect these new people to learn without asking questions. That's how we learned in our youth in school, by asking the teacher questions. Think of new vapers and new builders as the student and ourselves as the teachers. Just teach in the right way.I mean this in no way as disrespectful. Because the title says safety tips I just want to say that if you are using an unregulated mod it is a really good idea to learn ohms laws so that you can answer that question on your own. Start will the amp limit of your batteries, decide the voltage (4.2 for parallel, 8.4 for series), plug the resistance of your coil into a calculator and see if the amp draw is higher or lower than your batteries can handle. I think it's very dangerous territory to be using unregulated mods without under standing this principal.

I'm judging no one nor did I bash them for asking the question. Simply providing what I feel is a safety tipHonestly, I think the OP did the right thing. I agree with you too, and no bashing here either. I was simply trying to give a different perspective is all. I hope no offense was taken as I meant none.I'm judging no one nor did I bash them for asking the question. Simply providing what I feel is a safety tip

We all start somewhere. And I just feel like this is the most important concept a person can learn if they are going to be using an unregulated mod.I agree with you too, and no bashing here either. Agreed. I learned ohm's law at an early age working in electronics and such, so I truly understand the importance. I make it a point to guide those that don't know it well until the learn the ropes. We're all vape fam here, we all look out for each other. Vape on, but vape safeWe all start somewhere. And I just feel like this is the most important concept a person can learn if they are going to be using an unregulated mod.
