My friend gave me a box of his old vape stuff. I was building a kayfun with small 1.6 ohm coils. I found a premade coil with a thicker gauge of wire wrapped with a much larger diameter and decided to try it out. My variable mod reports it at 0.8 ohms. It seems to work great, but as I am new to this I wanted to post my build in case I am doing something unsafe, the last thing I want is a battery exploding in my face.
Tank: Kayfun
Mod: Fuchai-200w
Batteries: 2 different brands of IMR18650 3.7V 3000MAH 35A
Coil: Reports in at 0.8 ohms
Wattage range I usually vape at: 18.5 - 20
Considering that the mod goes all the way to 200W and that I am only at 20W I am guessing that everything should be fine, but I figured I would ask more experienced people just to make sure I'm not doing anything dumb.

But I'm just that way. Either or are a definite MUST for sub-ohming. I'm happy to see you've taken the time to check that what you're using is safe rather than jumping into it and hurting yourself.
