A few minutes ago...

I was sitting in bed working when all the sudden I heard a loud thud... the awful sound of a small head hitting a hard wood floor. I flew, literally flew out of bed and down the hall, shouldered the door to my daughters bedroom, which was shut, went through it like a hot knife through butter, slid on my knees to where she was laying on the floor and scooped her up. I started to shake her calling out her name. She opened her eyes, unaware of what was going on and immediately started to cry. She was fine until she realized how much I was panicking. My wife came in, took over and all was well.

Surveying the damage... MacBook screen broken, new Azeroth tank, which was on my lap along with the Mac , broken, bedroom door, broken. All over pretty much nothing. Luckly I have a spare glass for the tank and a warranty on the computer. The door on the other hand, that's going to cost us. My wife couldn't be mad at me but she definitely is not happy. WTF am I going to do when she really does hurt herself? I don't even want to think about it.

Not all their stuff is fake. You have to research your purchases. Mine isn't LV, but it's Coach. I did my research. A fake Coach wouldn't have lasted me 4 seasons, LOL. BUT... I also don't wanna be in your shoes if your wife were to find out you got it from ebay, LMAO! Real, or not, some women think there's a stigma against ebay and such. Me? Whatever will keep me from going shopping is where I buy. I effin HATE shopping.

I love Coach. Wait, no, I don't. I hate Coach. I love that there's an outlet on the rez where I can buy the wife a $400 bag for Christmas every year for about $150, and even though that's stupid as hell it's not the four figures I'd dump on an LV.

No, I can't even say I've paid $150 for a purse. I've had 2 Coach purses in my lifetime. Both came from eBay, both UNDER $100, both I've had for years. I wear that shit out, so I don't mind paying, but I can't see throwing that kind of money every change of the season for NEW. Nope. I used to be a huge fan of Fossil, but their quality kinda took a dump.

Last month I got conned into buying a Lincoln "crossover," was promised I was off the hook for Christmas...now she's asking how much is too much to spend compared to what I'm getting her. What can I ask for that's equivalent in value to a really ugly re-badged Ford Edge with leather seats?

So this guy on the forum I'm s'posed to be a refugee from was all like the Alien (Smok) doesn't have balanced charging. I replied to him and said (basically) well it does have balanced charging as I closely (seriously very very closely) monitored my mod as it charged via USB. Theyy charged within 1% of each other. He then commented back with this reddit article about some dude testing it (or something). I skimmed it and it said that it should be fine charging it as long as you unplug it as soon as it reaches 100%, which I do cuz... duhhhh! I mean I bookmarked the extraordinarily long as thing filled with lotsa a mumbo jumbo that I can't read right now as it is super late and I've had 2 red solo cups full of wine.... :vino: Don't judge me, my wine glasses are put up somewhere and I was in a full level of fuck it and had teh left over cups from Thanksgiving. And my B-day is Thursday... so yeah!!! Solo cups for the win:giggle::giggle::shades:

In all seriousness, that's a ridiculous amount of money (IMO) to spend on a purse. Your wife, your money, whatever makes you happy bro.

My wife was happy with ordering two purses on AliExpess for the sale they had a few weeks back. I think she spent 20 bucks on two purses. She was happy. My wife is hard on purses. I think she thinks they are luggage, not handbags.... She has more shit in her purse than I have in a toolbox!

So... If you gotta drop that kind of cash for her purse, what is she getting you? A nice DJI Phantom 4 with 2 spare batteries would be a nice trade off.

I have Coach, Chanel, Gucci, CK, Dolce and Gabbana, as well as a few more, all authentic, and all purchased at consignment stores and yard sale sites. Never paid more than twenty bucks for any of 'em because I am that cheap...lol! I'd also like to have some money left to put IN the bag after I BUY the bag....

Been there done that, but not a purse. A couple of knives I had ordered from Japan for her and now they sit in their boxes in her office because she prefers her $300 set over them :-/

Btw she's a chef so they are suppose to be work knives not decorations!

My wife buys me random stuff all year long, shit that I never asked!!! Like last night, she said, I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU! A fucking bracelet!!
Tshirt, pants, shoes, jewelry, wallet, socks, she used to buy me ejooze when she was still VAPING!!
That's why I don't ask any gifts anymore...
I could do the same thing, but she won't let me!!!
She wants that purse in the end of the year!!

I could give a crap about a purse -- as long as it's got enough pockets, I'll carry it till it literally falls apart. Then I'll buy another at Walmart or Target.

However, it is IMPERATIVE that I receive a new phone for xmas, because mine is SLOOOOOOOOOOOW and slow electronics are NOT TO BE TOLERATED!!!

Dam! I'm a cheap bastard and would get pissed if my hubs would buy me a ridiculous overpriced purse. Hubs told me he would run away from high maintenance women. He enjoyed his money. I contribute to the household and prefer to buy my own stuff. He bought me two cars in the past 16 years. I still own them. I gave him the older car when his was totaled. I was planning on giving the older car to son but that never materialized. :(

My husband has no use for high-maintenance women either... but he sure has bought me a lot of computers, books, and rosebushes. Good thing I like the stuff that REALLY matters, instead of stupid shit like clothes, makeup, and ridiculously-overpriced purses.

It's fun to buy stuff that really matters. He never rejects my ideas. He always tells me to buy what I need. Which is cool when it comes to vaping. I did put a lot of purchases on hold this past year because I wasn't working. However, I'm starting to stock up on vaping stuff just in case of regulations. I think I have enough nic to last for 25 years or so. I'm not worried about flavorings, wire, pg or vg. I just need to stock up on some kayfun 3s and 5s and I'll be done. IDK how many mods I will need. I'm still trying to determine that.

I have 14 mods, if you count the 2 Sigelei Zmax's and 2 mechs -- the former is backup, and the latter is vapocalypse backup; so really, just 10, 4 of which are my everydays - 2 minibooks and 2 iPV Minis. But, only 2 Achilles, since they don't make them anymore. I also have an Achilles II, which I modfied to give it a slightly tighter draw, but the bastard thing leaks, so I don't really like to use it -- ditto that for 2 Magmas. I've still got a couple KFL+'s, though I'm so spoiled by the flavor from the Achilles, I can't taste anything from them anymore. And still got 2 almost-full "bricks" of XL cartos. I'm just praying that my 2 Achilles will endure, so I don't need to use any of the others.
