Hopefully you won't be going back to the dentist for multiple appointments for the same damn root canal, just to get it pulled in a month. Some dentists will do that little bit at a time shit and not even give you the proper pain meds. I fired one after he pulled that shit with my friend. My issue wasn't as bad, and I feel terrible for recommending that asshole.
