We made peace with or apartment complex and will be staying here for the conceivable future. I'm so glad. Give us a chance to pay off some loans and save money for a down payment on a house. Literally two more moves and then we're done forever.

The ongoing saga of my apartment complex. They finally "approved" the transfer but then, two weeks later, call to inform me the apartment was actually $65 more than the lease renewal I signed and if I didn't want to pay the extra they would have to move us to a 2nd floor apt.
Sigh. I gave up at that point and called my cousin who is a criminal attorney.
He called them and told them that trying to force us to pay more via extortion was a crime.
Lolol!! We will be moving in to the other apt. But after the lease is up we are running away fast.
