No, they certainly do not, and we have a ton of homeowners here in Sevier County who found that out the hard way after the fires here last fall. Several didn't end up with enough to rebuild at all, let alone try to replace what they had. We still have people homeless from that disaster, and it's been nearly a year since it happened.

We were in the middle of a drought and a burn ban, but these little bastards thought it would be fun to toss matches off the Chimney Tops trail. This blaze came within two miles of our house from the back and front side.

People were panicked and confused. No one could see in that. The smoke started settling in long before the fires ever hit the residential areas, yet the city and county officials never made evacuations. Ski Mountain Road, where that video was taken, was not only NOT evacuated, but there were folks who called 911 before the fires spread, asking if there was imminent danger and if they should leave. They were told no, emergency crews were in the area, no need for concern. No one in any area was evacuated. A lot of folks took it upon themselves to leave, but some never knew the fires were upon them until it was too late. Fine emergency management system we got, eh?

claim was done thru U-Haul...
U-Haul contacted me, asking for photos of the damages, I sent these!

I JUST FOUND OUT TODAY FROM THE GUY DRIVING THE TRUCK THAT UHAUL WILL NOt PAY FOR THE DAMAGES AND HE HAS TO DO A CLAIM WITH HIS OWN INSURANCE!!
