on another note, i was notified today that somebody spent $1750 on my credit card. Just when you think life can't get worse.

So in the last two months i've,
-had my debit card stolen ($850 - caused me to pay rent late)
-credit card stolen ($1750)
-been scammed out of $1500 trying to get my family into a better house
-made to feel like dirt from a trained professional, then handed her a check
-had to sign a new lease in a place i don't want to live
-dealt with cops & detectives
-patched up a hole in the drywall of my house (from kids)
-fixing various other things around the house
-all while dealing with a kid that makes you miserable every day.

My brain is so scrambled, i'm sure there's other things i'm forgetting. I never thought my life would be this difficult.

A little update. Things have gotten better. Money is still tight, but it's been that way for about 5 years so i'm used to it lol.

-The woman that scammed me out of $1500 was found guilty of extortion and ordered to pay me back. So she's going to prison.
-I bought a new house and am moving in on the 13th. No more renting in this shit hole. (need to buy a washer & dryer though)
-Step son has been with his dad in Arizona so it has been really quiet and stress free lol

She’s doing therapy, her left elbow still hurts but manageable and she’s experiencing numbness and tingling on her left hand, hopefully it’s not nerve damage.....

Man fuck Charter Spectrum!!!!

At my old place I had cable, tv, and phone for about $120

I'm told I can't "transfer" my service to my new house and that a new account must be created.
Well that new account has less channels than I used to have, we lost all our DVR recordings and i had to pay an installation fee.

So now, to get the channels i used to have + internet, I'm going to be paying $140 a month. and that's without a home phone.

Apparently they have no appreciation for continued service. I need to look into my roku's services.

Yeah bullshit landlord is refusing to fix serious issues with the house. The bathroom has been destroyed since we moved in a year ago and the roof sprung a leak about 3 weeks ago. The tarp held up ok the first few storms but the water is seeping back in. Wouldn’t care so much if it wasn’t over our sons bed

I've learned that over the course of MANY years dealing with them directly and daily. I'm so glad my job now is pretty much restricted to dealing with them briefly by phone. No one can see my face....or hear me when I hang up....

Yesterday I had an appointment to see the urologist for a prostate exam. Of course, I was a bit on edge because all of my friends have either gone under the knife or had those pellets implanted. The waiting room was filled with patients.

As I approached the receptionist's desk, I noticed that the receptionist was a very large, extremely unfriendly woman who looked like a Sumo wrestler. I gave her my name. Then, in a very loud voice, the receptionist said,

"YES, I HAVE YOUR NAME HERE. YOU WANT TO SEE THE DOCTOR ABOUT IMPOTENCE, RIGHT?"

All the people in the waiting room snapped their heads around to look at me, a now very embarrassed man. But, as usual, I quickly recovered and, in an equally loud voice, replied:

"NO, I HAVE COME TO INQUIRE ABOUT A SEX CHANGE OPERATION BUT I DON'T WANT THE SAME DOCTOR WHO DID YOURS."

The entire room erupted in applausel!

See if there is a Slumlord Act in your state. If there is, he/she is in for a rude awakening. You may even get reimbursed for back rent. I'm a Realtor and also do rentals. Worth a shot.
