Searching for a tank to end this leaky nightmare...

Please help me find the ultimate in large, leak-proof, rebuildables... price is not as much of a concern as wasting tons of juice. I've bought mostly SMOK products, then spent 70 bucks on the Widowmaker to find every drop had poured out and began seeping into the battery compartment. I know they're all overpriced junk made in China, but there must be some that don't leak... yes?

You should really go to YouTube and watch some wicking tutorials. You can find reviews for the Widowmaker and pay attention to how they wick it. If all of your tanks are pouring liquid out its your wicking and not enough cotton.

I'd recommend that you consider a top airflow rta, they're almost leak proof.

I've never owned these tanks but they are very popular with good reviews and are both top air flow.

I use top air flow RTAs- no leaking from those unless I lay them down( which I don't). I mainly use single coil decks too.
Here is a listing of what I have and use with no or very little condensation.
Top Air flow
Augvape Intake RTA
Kaees Solomon V2 RTA
SMM Elevate RTA
OBS Engine Nano RTA
Vandy Vape Pyro - RDTA
The Flave RDTA
Asmodus Nefarious RDTA
Pixie RDTA
There are a few bottom air flow RTAs that I use that have been for the most part leak free when wicked correctly- again I mainly use single coil decks
Asmodus Zesthia RTA
Kylin Mini RTA
Footoon Aquamaster
The problem will be finding these RTAs and RDTAs- many are discontinued unfortunately. You may find these for sale on some China vendors sites- or here on the Hardware for sale thread here at the forum.

Doom X Mesh RTA. No leaks. Has juice flow control to close when filling.
Or the one in my sig does not leak. Open to offer (shameless plug). Or anywhere you can find it.

Please don't take this as an insult. but I think you're doing it wrong :) There are several atomizers in my early history I was convinced were crap. that I have come to realize with some experience that I just wasn't building them right.

A top airflow tank will greatly resist leaking, but if they're not built and wicked right, you can still get flooding and gurgling.
I know they're all overpriced junk made in China, but there must be some that don't leak... yes?
I understand the frustration, but most of them aren't actually junk and almost none of them just leak because of a leaky design. Even some of the ones that ARE junk can be made to vape pretty well despite the chintzy build quality. :D Seriously. (Devil RDA and Rementry RDA for instance. )

If you stick with rebuildables for a little while, I bet you'll be back in here saying: "Ya know what? That Widowmaker isn't actually leaky after all" :)

Praise the holy Ohm!

There were a few RDA I tried, namely post-less ones. Could not figure how to build on them to save Isaac. Now, wonder if I had applied a little more patience if it would have come to me.

Experience is a vital teacher. Many will say it's life that's wiser. They're wrong. Experience is what you get when you try and fail, try and fail, ... until you succeed. Mistakes teach better than doing it perfect from the start.

Embrace discomfort. Embrace failing. Embrace the suck. Once you make these your allies you are unstoppable. "There is no spoon."

Work on getting the wicking down. In the meantime top airflow rta's might be your friend. Like the oxva arbiter v2. There are a few occasions where leaking is a fault with the build of the atomizer but with rebuildables it's more often than not a wicking issue. Doesn't make it any less frustrating but might give some hope that with practice the problems can be reduced or overcome entirely.
