Selling eliquid

so I started selling a few bottles to friends and I am curious how I would make this happen on a little larger scale. How does one starts selling their product? Also, in what ways can I get my product "out there" for more people to see what I have? Best ways to create a website for FREE or relatively (c<100) cheap?

Before getting your product out there...Do you have a business license? I'm not sure of the legalities of selling/sending nic through the mail, so I imagine having some kind of insurance might be important. I know this wasn't your question, so I'm sorry for being off topic. It just occurred to me that I'm curious if this is necessary...don't worry. I won't be selling juice =)

If you don't even have $100, there is no way you are going to be able to start a business. In addition to a license, you will need a payment processor, a web master, inventory, a clean room, advertising money, more money for testing, liability insurance, etc.... Why not keep selling to friends and friends of friends? How are people going to find out about you? There are so many juice companies now. If you have some fantastic recipes, you could have someone with a clean room make them up for you, but that would cost way more than $100.

First grow via friends and through local word of mouth. :See how that goes and then make your decision to get bigger. If you have a knack for it, you might do pretty well. There is a huge profit margin between the real cost of making juice, and what most vapers will pay for it, so its not a bad idea.

It's a difficult transition, and very subject to local/federal legislation changes. Liability and protection (and verification of supplier quality) is very important

Business license is required.
Costs increase quite a bit when going with website / advertising
Costs are still a lot lower than 'brick and mortar' .. although locally there is still potentially huge profit

Margins for most companies include a huge amount of costs, where-as I think I was spending $25 a Litre to produce just raw materials, no labour etc
People who move to rebuildables can have very large ml / day and really need a price break somewhere lol

My choice was to go National or stay supplying friends and coworkers for real cheap
... and still haven't taken the 'big leap'. Considering other hybrid options with 'certain other things' close to legalization.

I'm kinda lucky and have a chem background, IT job and the pallette of a chef :p

There will be alot of 'under the table' money to be made after the FDA starts requiring testing from licensed vendors. Their prices will surely spike, leaving people looking for cheaper options. You can fill in the rest.

There does seem to be a possibility for a future cash cow for anyone with the foresight to stock up now.

Craigslist. You could find local customers there I would imagine. Just keep mixing it in your kitchen and sell it under the table. As always, if it goes south you didn't hear that from me.

You gotta realize, at a certain point selling untaxed eliquid will be like selling untaxed cigarettes. Highly lucrative and illegal. Our free market will not last.

Concerning the web presence , payment gateway , etc you may use on plug and play solution like Shopify that is more than enough to do business legally with a recurring (low) monthly cost.
