I ordered this P.O.S. as an extra tank for my wife...man this has to be the most dysfunctional sub ohm tank I've ever had the misfortune of trying to use!
I let it sit overnight filled to prime and the first attempt to use it began to gurgle and spit and produce no vapor?
Anyone else have the misfortune of being screwed by this little asshole of a tank? If so, can it be remedied, or am I possibly doing something wrong (I'm afraid this is not what's up as only a dull person could screw up filling and attaching a tank to a mod...right )
Help is appreciated as always.
The sense cyclone, well when it was first hyped when coming out i was on-board, then saw the reviews and then decided not to buy, I came across the cyclone in a sidewalk sale for $10 at a vape sale so i decided what the hell for $10, So far not 1 leak or gurgle or spit back and what i have to come to conclude from all the probs with the tank seem legit but haven't experienced any of them myself here is what i conclude. #1 from first look and taking the tank apart i noticed how the coil sits directly flat on the base, I closed the top air flow, closed the mid airflow then set the tank to fill. Here is what i didn't do, DO NOT PRIME THE COIL. because the coil sits directly on the flat base and the juice control when opens floods the lower chamber there is no need to prime it, unlike conventional sub ohm tank bases there is the airflow and the coil is raised off the bottom, thus needing to prime the coil so you wont burn the inside, Not the cyclone, if you prime the coil you will flood it once you open the juice flow control leading to spitting and gurgling, just sit the coil in there open the juice flow and watch the bubbles come up then open your mid air flow and if you like your top. The coil needs like a half sec ramp up time so dont try to power it under 50w you will get nothing, start at 50 then work your way up by increments of 5 to where you feel comfortable. I vaped it up to a 120 and stopped the tank was red hot and i burned through a ton of juice. i let the tank sit till completely cooled, closed all airflows, now here is key #2 after closing all the airflows I turned the tank over and let what remaning juice that was in the bottom of the tank to come back to the glass part of the tank, after i was satisfied I turned the juice flow off, turned it back over and filled it up. Then i open the juice flow control and watched all the pretty bubbles, then opened my mid air flow and started vaping, not a leak or gurgle or spit back. Some key notes, after running it up to a 120w on the .6 the flavor wasn't great, after i let it completely cool and refilled it the flavor started to come through, i find the sweet spot around 75-80 for me. DO NOT PRIME THAT COIL, just let it sit and pull it through yourself or you will flood it and have the worst experience with hot juice burning your tongue or throat. All in all a good tank for $10, lol, hope this helped some people who were having probs with the tank. oh i more thing after the initial burn to a 120w and after letting it cool completely the tank does not heat up as bad, the initial burn is to get the coil going then letting it settle and for the cotton to expand around the wires giving you better flavor after the cool down.
