Series box mod build

Ok so I'm deff not new to building I just have a question that maybe someone better could answer I just built another box series to be exact and my current wire is getting hotter than I would like and my mosfet is getting warmer as well I know it's not my build on the Addy because it's at . 4 and that's about 21 amps nothing dramattic

You do know that series effectively doubles the voltage, right? I guess you do since you mentioned the amp draw.

What gauge wire did you use to build the box?

What batteries are those? The color makes me think lg he4, but the stickers on yours are different than mine. (My sticker is clear with black font, yours is white).

Got any other cells that you can pop in there to see if maybe its the batteries at fault?

Guessing here, cause to my eye your box mod looks pretty pro. :)

Aside from that, the only other thing I can think of off the top of my head is where your button and 510 connector pass through the body of the mod. Are you sure that there is sufficient metal to metal contact with the components and the box itself? If the box is painted or powder coated and the button and 510 connector can't make a good contact with the chassis on the ground side of things, I could potentially see things heating up more than would be desired. Take that with a grain of salt though, I guess, since I've never built one of these things. :)

MOSFET should be stuck against the box, and not shrink wrapped, then the box acts a a heatsink.

It probably is the build. Those look to be LG HE4s. Those are 20 amp batteries. Take it down to about 0.5 ohms. That's safer.

Of course pulling more than the batteries can handle is not good but 1 amp should not be a breaking point of no heat to extreme heat and I never had a problem before and with 14g solid it doesn't make sense and the mosfet to the box I understand that but that wouldn't release much heat as the current will still build up at the point of least resistance in this case what can't be released in the coils will build up in the line wires

Mosfets do get hot, and should be attached to metal, that's why they have a small heat sink with a hole they are to be mounted with.
You don't seem to want help here. Maybe you should talk to the modder who made it, or just throw it away. Yes I know you made it.

You obviously don't understand the nature of my problem I'm trying to get around a problem without really altering the build the box works perfectly just wanted to know if there was a way to get it a little cooler and as of right now I just haven't seen any options without altering the build every response on this thread was good until yours guess you can't get away ass holes no matter where you go

Well then. Try a 3.2 ohm coil. It will definitely run cooler then. No need for the name calling. I was trying to help.
Actually I don't know why I give a fuck. Go blow your. Fucking face off idiot.
Fucking kids.
