“I thought the trailer was spectacular, and very intense. It absolutely reflects the tone and the feel of the movie," Star Wars: The Last Jedi actor Andy Serkis, who plays Supreme Leader Snoke via performance-capture, told us over the phone this week when asked for his reaction to the film's brand new trailer.
Serkis added, "I do think this movie is going to really surprise people with its plotline and story and its tension in it."
Serkis, whose directorial debut, Breathe, opened in limited release this weekend, went on to praise The Last Jedi's director, Rian Johnson.
“Working with Rian, he’s again, a fine, fine director. He totally owned this world, and he’s a great actor’s director too," Serkis said. "He’s really inspiring, I loved spending time with him on set, and I think he’s come up with an amazing movie."
