Shia LaBeouf's latest indie drama Man Down was a major flop at the U.K. box office.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, via comScore's report, the film only managed to sell one ticket at a theater in Burnley, grossing just $8.70/£7 in its opening run.
Though Man Down only opened in a limited number of theaters and also debuted simultaneously on digital platforms in the U.K., the $8.70 gross was certainly well below expectations. However, Man Down did perform better in the United States, earning roughly $454,490 in a limited theatrical run in early December.
Along with LaBeouf, Man Down stars Jai Courtney, Kate Mara and Gary Oldman. The story follows LaBeouf's Gabriel Drummer, a war veteran suffering from PTSD following his tours in Afghanistan who, after returning home, goes on a desperate search to find his missing son.
