Yes and no.

I personally would not buy batteries other than from a US seller. Not to say these are fakes, but sometimes you are gambling ordering from Fast Tech. Batteries are not something I would take a chance with.

I wouldn't order batteries from fasttech, you could be waiting 3 months for them, as they have to come by boat, and it just isn't worth the little money saved, can find good deals on batteries normally without using fasttech.

But I do use samsung batteries myself, and normally I build around 0.40-0.50ohms.

They are great batteries. They have a 20 amp continuous discharge rating. I don't take mine down to less than 0.25 ohms, 17 amp draw. Any less than 0.25 and I switch to Sony VTC, 30A batts.

There are no batteries that will do 0.10 ohms in their continuous amp discharge rating, but the VTC's hit 30A at 0.14 ohms.

The 25R can safely be discharged at a continuous 20A (amps). Pulse discharge levels are [95A - .5 sec, 65A - 1 sec, 40A - 5 sec, 30A - 6 sec].

No, pulse ratings are the manufacturer supplied specifications for SAFE levels of current at specified lengths of time. Don't say something without facts to support it.

For a couple extra bucks I'd just buy 'em from Lightning Vapes and have them in 2-3 days instead of 2-3 months. I've spent tons of money at FT and trust that if they say something is legit, it is, but shipping batteries from overseas is a headache to avoid at all costs...

EDIT: Oh, and I probably wouldn't take 'em below 0.3 in a mech - I have a pair that power duals in the 0.2-0.3 range on my Sig100, but I've got VTCs that power my mech tubes...although I've also run purple Efests, which I believe are rated similarly to these Samsungs when you throw out the BS wrapper rating.

sonys specsAnd you believe this?people leave out its labeled under use with a protection circuit and also in a battery pack not a single battery. I'm not arguing on here just that these are not safe to pulse. Sure they do work fine Most of the time but its not Safe practice

If you choose China epacket it takes 7-14 days usually and only batteries usually go by boat only but now they have a airmail for batteries supposedly.

Less than $6.00 per battery for Samsung or LG batteries...just saying...Compare to anyone in the world on retail price..just saying...case closed.

And personally i believe in safety more than anything and i wouldnt personally use a 20 amp battery with less than .5 ohm...This doesnt stress the cell as much killing its life but you are safe and thats what matters most...The more amps used the more heat created in the cell..Heat is an enemy of any battery cell.

The Samsung 25Rs are great batteries. I use them in my unregulated series box without any issues. But I always make sure that the resistance is high enough to keep the current within the 20a per battery range.
