Unlike most Secret Wars comics, Siege is neither a continuation nor a re-imagining of the series whose namesake it shares. Apart from the cover design, there's absolutely nothing linking this book to the 2010 Brian Michael Bendis/Olivier Coipel Siege. And that's okay. What this Siege does offer is a story set in a vital section of Battleworld, The Shield (the giant wall blocking the Deadlands from the rest of the planet), and featuring an enjoyably eclectic cast.Continue reading…
