Sigelei 150 and mutation help please

Hi everyone, I've currently been using my Sigelei for about 6 months with an artic tank, today I decided to buy a mutation x v4 as a nice little upgrade,
I've got home and started to building it but have got worried about the fact I don't have an ohm reader..
I've been told be friend that it doesn't matter to much as the Sigelei is regulated so rather than blowing up the Sigelei just won't fire up,

Any help would be really appreciated
Cheers

If you are getting into building, get an ohm reader...
regulated device or not. ;)

So I built it, fired her up and she tastes so good, however I'm still abit worried, is this ok? And am I ok to fully charge my battery's up?

A 0.18ohm coil is fine, the Sig can fire down to 0.10ohms. The wattage is subjective, bump it up until you find the sweet spot for you, if it tastes good to you, then use it. Since the Sig is a series mod, you'll want 2 married batteries (bought together, used together, charged together, and at least 20A) And I'd wait until they're a little more than half dead before charging them (I never charge batteries that have more than 50% power left)

Thank you for your reply, so will the .18 ohm reading stay the same or do I need to keep an eye on it just incase it slips down to below .1?
Is there a maximum I can let the volts go up to before I need to be worrying?
I'm buying an ohm reader tomorrow so in future what is a safe reading to get?
Also is the Sigelei made so It can't blow up unlike a mec mod?
Am I worrying for no reason
Thanks again for your help

You're worrying a little too much, just a little, but that's not a bad thing, better to be safe than sorry.
If you re-adjust the coils, just dry fire the coils and get rid of the hot spots, then re-wick (the ohms will probably change slightly, but should be within the same range). As long as the coil is above 0.1 ohm, the mod can fire it. The mod will adjust the Volts by itself, and won't fire if it can't handle the load. Regulated Mods are not known to blow up, as long as it's used properly (use quality batteries 20A minimum, keep all contacts clean, don't drop it all the damn time) you should be fine, the mod has protection to prevent most problems from happening.

Thank you dude you have put my mind at rest now
I'm sure after a month or 2 I'll be clued up and more confident but I know I'm only a beginner and it's always a good Idea to get as much imfo as possible! Really appreciate it so thank you again

No Problem, we're always glad to help!

I just did what you said about evening the heat spots out and it's now reading 0.36 is this a good thing? I'm not sure if the higher ohm or lower ohm is better, I'm sorry to be a nightmare
Sorry my mistake she's re freshed to.19

make sure all your screws are nice and snug...especially after using it a few times. they tend to loosen up after heating.

Not sure if I would say higher is better, as that is subjective to what you are trying to get out of your build. However higher is definitely safer.
