Sigelei 150 OG, fire button sticking.

Hi everyone, I have an issue with the first dual 18650 device I bought, the OG Sigelei 150.

I've had it a long time now, but just recently the fire button is becoming stuck.
Unless I press exactly in the middle of the button, it gets stuck and continues to fire until I press it again and get it back out.

I enjoy using the device in rotation, as it is a solid device and I would like to keep it working if I can.

The actual fire button does spin, but the outer edge of it does not. I have tried turning it clockwise until it turns no more as I have read, but it soon goes back to how it was. I am thinking it needs to stay in this position otherwise it sticks, just getting it to stay in this position is the problem.

I really hope someone knows how to sort this, the mod is a bit sentimental being my first higher powered mod (I know, it is a mod, I am a bit sad lol).

Maybe some juice has got under the button causing it to stick. I'd try spraying some contact cleaner around the side of the button and press it a few times.

If you don't have any cleaner you could try the same thing with a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol.

Did you change the housing yourself to have a blue and red one? If so do you have any pictures of it, as I like to see what people have done with their mods .

Hi mate, I will give this a try as I do have electrical contact cleaner, it is an aerosol that I got after one of my tanks dropped its contents and filled up the inside of a mod.

Hopefully it is something this simple, I will let you know how I get on after trying this out.

i have the Sigelei 100watt plus and it does the exact same thing. Started shortly after buying it. I tried contact cleaner and it was a no go. It is now in my junk pile. I will not buy another Sigeli for this reason.

I have tried out the contact cleaner, and it seems the button is kind of getting stuck behind the outer circular part of the button.

It is a shame as I like the mod, I myself have also been put off Sigelei but for other reasons (Since they changed from using Yihi boards the quality seems to have dropped). I have the 150 TC and that is also a very sturdy mod.

I will have to try something else here, it isn't urgent to get it working which is lucky but it feels like an old faithful friend lol. I guess if it is time to retire it though it got over a years worth of use so not too bad.

My OG are like new.. I had 3 of them I loaned my black one and fucker never gave it back lol...
Yeah the most reliable sigelei ever... Everything that comes out from them now a days are KANGER QUALITY ITS SAD

Oh OK, I didn't realise they was available in that colour, quite cool I must say.
That is annoying on the black one, i hate lending things out to never see them again.

I think even Kanger is slightly better than some of Sigeleis offerings now, I purchased a Sigelei mini book for my fiancee and it broke in 3 weeks. However her Kanger top box kit is still going strong after many drops and scrapes, the mini book just kind of killed itself .
The shop did refund us though as you could tell it had not been dropped or abused.

I agree, let me take that back...my last sigelei purchase was the fuchai 200, sold that one in a week or so, it was UNDERPOWERED... While my Knox 120 although it's scratched up, it's still one rotation.. I mainly use for my 22mm rdas..
