Most of you know this, but especially with drippers. After a new build, once you have been vaping for about a day, go back and snug the post screws. After a few heatings, especially at high power/low resistance, the screws can loosen and cause resistance reading fluctuations due to the wires not being properly read.
Yeah, that's great advice and I do always do that! :) That was the first thing I thought of actually! But unfortunately, this happens with everything I put on there (just not all the time). Post screws tight and all.

Eric is a total stand-up guy for sure! None of my atty's would make connection with my black Sigelei 50 watter and it was just cutting too much into my hand so I asked for a refund. There was no hesitation at all on Eric's part. Now after reading the horror stories, I won't be trusting Sigelei much in the future. These problems are scary enough to cause some really serious injuries. It looks like Sigelei was much too hasty to put out a new mod. Not good.

But I did get a cute little iStick that I couldn't be happier with! Kuddos to iSmoka!

I actually don't have any issues with mine really, I just don't think the 510 pin will last.

All I've put on mine is a kayfun clone and it looks gnarly. I don't even screw it on and off much. Once a day.

It's more likely an issue with the YiHi chip itself. The build quality on the box is solid and clean! Way nicer than the IPV. Everything most know and love about Sigelei. IMO it lives up to their reputation but the YiHi chip, not so much.

I've been putting my YIHI (IPV2) through the mill and I have nothing but praise for it. I love it for my Orchids, but it's still underpowered for dripping.

The chip is fine and doesn't have jumping voltages (same as my ipv1). What my concern is how long the 510 pins will last. They are tiny and don't have a lot of surface contact with the 510 on the atomizer

Phil Basardo had issues with his IPV V2 jumping voltages. Granted not as extreme as what I'm experiencing. I'm not saying that ALL the chips malfunction, just that I suspect it's a chip glitch and not a design problem with Sigelei. But who knows...

Agreed on the 510 pin. Very soft copper, doesn't stay in place, will wear for sure...could this be causing bad ohm readings...maybe? like I said...tough to say for sure.

I agree with that. It could be an issue and if I would have truly seen the pin I probably wouldn't have ordered it. I wish I could find a flat replacement

Copper plated pins would be nice. I hope they come out with them. Copper itself is just too soft and will get crushed by screwing down our atomizers too hard.

I bought a black one thinking the problem was only with the silver one's. Worked great for 1 battery cycle before the resistance was all over the place.I have only used a Nautilus with Bvc coil at 12 watts. Tried adjusting the pin up with no luck.
