So I've had this unit (Sigelei SNOWWOLF 218) for about a month or so. I was changing the batteries, closed the cover, SNOWWOLF Appears in the window. after that NOTHING!

Got the batteries in the correct orientation Try the fire button. Reinstall the batteries again? Just things to check. Not sure what you have done

Yes, batteries in correctly. I've taken batteries out and reinstalled multiple times. The little screen lights up when I close the battery door. It says SNOWWOLF.
