So has anyone had their Sigelei get wet? I mean, dunked in the sink wet. I'm not in that situation, but simply curious as to it's resistance/survivability. Would it be okay if it wasn't powered on or the batteries were out?

I would think that if the batteries were out and you made sure it dried completely before putting the batteries back in and turning it on, it would probably be fine..?

Better make damned sure it is completely dry.
The LCD might be funky looking.
Dry rice in a bag back off leave it alone for 72 hours and see.

It's cool admit it you were Vooping and it fell in!.......JK. I hope this did not happen to you. I would probably keep it away from water. So no Vooping, shaving, brushing teeth, hot steamy showers. You catch where I am going with is. Anyway water and the unit are probably not good to come in contact with each other. and yeah make sure its dry pry open that cover for the chip and electronics and check.

After all the sad stories of "Death By Toilet" I have read, I am super careful with mine.

But barring a dunked device in the middle of one hell of a lot of dry white rice for a few days has indeed brought a lot of devices back to life.

Haha I was actually thinking of having it Hydrodipped for some customization. But..the dipping part had me worried. Hence the water question. Thanks for the info guys! I think I'll try stay clear and find some other way.

I heard that the rice attracts asian people at night and they come and fix your device.

Don't be offended, i insult/make fun of everyone.

I actually had a mvp2 fall into the bathtub and get completely submerged. Granted it was only down there a couple of seconds before I retrieved it but it was fine.

I had this happen with a different device. I dropped it in a full cup of crystal light. It went zzzt... zzzt.... fizzle. I put it in a bag of rice for maybe 2 days? It half-way worked, then stopped again. I stuck it in a drawer, just tossed it in there. 2 weeks later thought about it, tried it again, and nothing. Tossed it in the drawer again, why I'm not sure.

Month goes by, forgetting all about it.

Oh hey, I wonder if this works! Ta-da! Works perfectly, like nothing ever happened to it. That's my experience, with another brand. Don't try this at home.

The IPV2S is also water "proof". Don't see how with battery vents but there are videos of it being submerged in water and working fine.

Segelie do NOT like water. As in, don't use them if you are out in the rain with wet hands.. (RIP segelie 1) and I was vaping at the sink while waiting for the water to get cold, dropped the mod and OH SHIT! Remembered Segelie 1. Howerver... no power = no short so take out the batteries, shake she hell out of the mod to remove as much water as you can that way, open the bottom and blow it dry with the hair dryer... mind you don't get it to hot, figure 30 minutes at low heat should be enough. Segelei 2 survived.. YAYYY
