Simple question...can a device's signal type affect juice taste?

Some would say they can tell.....

But I cant really !
MVP2 vs Groove2 and they seem about the same using the same Russian 91% clone with same juice.
For me its like one piece of popcorn with 10 grains of salt on it vs one with 9 grains...... meh, its popcorn w/salt !!!

Just MHO........

Thank you for answering.

I ask mostly because I'm having a real hard time tasting one of my strawberry mixes, but every once in a while I get a blast of strawberry flavor, even after my juice has been steeping (and regularly shaken) for a few days.

I'm currently using an SVD, which has an audible buzz when I fire it, and also, everything tastes burnt over 8.5 watts, no matter what glasso I'm using (EVOD Glass, Protank 3, iClear X.I, or Nautilus).

I was wondering if somehow my SVD was not firing correctly most of the time and only once in a while gave the proper blast to intensify my juice without burning it.

Going out on a limb here, I know.

I'm just wondering if the ProVari Mini I'm getting this week will change the way my juice tastes, but it sounds like it's just my taste buds.

Oh, well. I was due for a new mod, anyway.

@Emilie, You might want to try a BVC coil head in the Aspire Nautilus. They can handle a lot more power and have much better flavor than the other's you mentioned.

That's the thing, I'm actually using the BVCs.

I'd say that I simply need to up the flavor percentage in my juice, but, as I think I mentioned, every once in a while I get a flavor blast, which I think has more to do with my SVD, though I'm not 100% sure.

I guess I'll know more later this week. The ProVari has a much higher pulse rate, so I'm hoping I can turn it up a bit without getting that burnt taste.

No I am going to agree some devices the signal is just garbage.
My mvp 2 compared to my zmax.. the mvp was and is always smooth the zmax anything over 3.7 volts or 5 watts would fry coils.

Depends on the person to be honest but a big part of the MVP's and Provari's stellar vapes is that they both have a relatively flat signal and operate on a much higher wavelength. It's a big reason why both are extraordinarily popular .

Many mods don't operate in the same fashion and run on a much lower wavelength . In regard to your comment about only getting a great taste of strawberry every once in a while , i would bet that happens after you have eaten or drank something or started up after taking a short break .

Many times continuous vaping seems to produce just an average experience and only after you first start after a long absence does the flavor really hit you hard at the beginning .

Once settled in though the vape diminishes a bit as far as getting the best flavor etc...

The flavor blasts I'm talking about occur at random times, no matter how much I've been vaping continuously, while yes, I do taste my juice a little better after switching flavors or not vaping for an hour or so. :)

I have no answers for that one lol.

I can't tell you whether those flavor blasts were because of my SVD or not yet, but I just received my ProVari Mini, and there's no more popping and hissing from my Nautilus (with BVCs) on it at the same voltage.

I'm still lacking flavor, though, so I'll need to revisit my recipe, but I can tell you SOMETHING is different.

After a couple of days with my new mod, I CAN tell a difference in taste in general.

With my SVDs, after a short time of vaping my Strawberries-n-Cream, I couldn't taste strawberry anymore, and it was like vaping unflavored juice. With my ProVari, while I still need to up my flavor a little, I can actually taste strawberry throughout the day. It's subtle, but it's there, whereas previously, it wasn't.

I honestly don't think this is just in my head. There are quite a few things that I prefer about SVDs than ProVaris, but there is a definite taste difference with the higher-frequency PWM.

I'm a little nervous about this, because I've heard that upping power can create some nasties in juice, but I decided to raise my voltage in my ProVari about half a volt. I couldn't do this with my SVD; everything tasted burnt when I did.

OMG. Flavors are overwhelming, but CLEAN!

Because of the PWM frequency in the ProVari compared to my old SVDs, I need to cut WAY back on my flavor percentages in my DIY juice.

I'm probably talking to myself here, but I wanted to put that out there.

I'm in no way a ProVari fangirl, (if I could have ProVari PWM in my SVD, and a good firing button, I'd take an SVD any day), but there really is a difference here.

Sounds like more of a juice feeding problem than signal/flavor issues. Are you vaping thick ejuice with a lot of VG?

I honestly don't think that's what it is because now that I have a different mod with a higher-frequency PWM, I'm getting the same flavor, consistently, that I was getting in my flavor bursts with my SVD. Actually, I need to reduce the amount of flavor in my juices now.
