It isn't easy being a super-powered assassin, even when you have heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman fighting by your side. Slade Wilson learned that the hard way when he was forced to make a terrible sacrifice in the latest issue of DC's ongoing Deathstroke comic.
Deathstroke #10 chronicled the final battle between Slade and the Greek Titan Lapetus. As Superman and Wonder Woman fought to prevent Paradise Island from being destroyed, Slade was able to cut the Titan down with an enchanted blade forged by Hephaestus. Unfortunately, that was when he learned he had been swindled by Hephaestus. It turns out there's a penalty for striking down a Greek god. As punishment, Slade was told to choose which of his children would be sacrificed in retribution.
