HI, I am sure this has been discussed a million times. Just not sure what the remedy is. I have been vaping 8 years. I was on another forum for 5 years where I was finally banned due to a disagreement with a moderator. I assure everyone I am realty a good guy though.
That being said, of course the Triade tore all my HG2's. Just a slight tear at the positive cap. I know there is an issue because it will often say "check battery". I am not sure super 88 tape will work up there. I know this is no joking matter. I was hoping someone had a resolution. I have read countless things about this issue but not really where mine is torn.It is like a "ring" of the wrapper came off. Not the insulator ring though. If I re-shrink wrap them i am sure they shall just tear again. As you know this things battery sled is tight. I much prefer the 3x18650 to Lipo nowadays though.
I also wondered if the Triade has some sort of reverse polarity protection they built in? The DNA200 board does not normally of course. Unlike the Reuleaux you can most certainly put the batteries in backwards. I was wondering if the only protection lies with the user not inserting them backwards? If so, quite frankly that is dangerous but it would most likely just blow the fuse on the board. I am careful but often drunk
Thank you guy's and I am happy to have a new home for discussion of all things vaping!
