Hello Everyone, I literally just earlier today bought a slug mod from my local Vape Shop for $110 nice mech mod different and unique looking and the fire switch is a lot different then the typical button... anyways it randomly won't fire even with a freshly charged battery now like it was firing fine and now it's just completely stopped I've tried both my RDAs on there and they work on my box fine and idk I'm really frustrated if anyone has any advice on how to fix this it would be much appreciated!

Take it back to the local vape shop and get them to show you what is wrong.
I was thinking the same thing... I'm praying that they'll let me get my money back if it is beat or at least fix it for me

Did you take it completely apart, clean everything and familiarize yourself with the parts, design and any adjustments that need to be performed before you used it? If you didn't, you shouldn't have bought a mech.

I did unscrew it and make sure all the parts were okay... nothing seems to be wrong but it just won't fire and it's pissing me off... for a $100 mod for it to do this the first day I get it is rediculous... I can get an IPVD3 box mod for $40 and those last forever but yet every mech I get fucks up on me :( anyone have any previous experience with the slug and mabey could tell me a fix?

im gonna take a big ol guess here and say your firing switch aint making contact with your battery, try adjusting your battery rattle adjustment, try different batteries, my stacked x2 will not work with 25r's the positive end does not protrude enough, lg's always work in it tho.

The firing mechanism on the slug is unique. It locks and you need to unlock it by twisting the pin. Check a youtube review and you will see.

Where in the circuit does your VOM say the flow of electricity is stopping?

You have checked your mod electrically, right?

Are the contacts making clean and complete contact?

If you just bought it go back and ask them about any of the idiosyncrasies. If there is just a simple fix, dont worry about them thinking youre "lame" suck it up and just let them check it out.

If there is a problem that needs fixing let them fix it and just give you another one. If you start taking it apart you might scratch it, ding it, drop it, etc and then they will blame YOU for it. Tell em that when you bring it in. Tell you rather not start fiddling before you KNOw its working perfectly.

Its easy to go through all the checking like others suggested but I rather look "clueless" and ask than be stuck with something that they wont take back because its "un-sell-able" now because I scratched it up etc.

Just my 2 cents from experience. Im a woman so they tend to treat you different, and sometimes that is an advantage. I dont tend to care about my ego as much.
