Small chip in battery wrap

My 25r has a very small chip in the wrap. Not sure how it happened. There doesn't appear to be any metal showing just the washer on top. My question is should I worry about using this. I am hoping to be able to use it until I can get some wrappers for it and learn how to do it. Thanks in advance for your time and help .

To my eyes it does look like there is a bit of metal exposed, If it were mine, I'd hold off using it, until I got it re-wrapped just to be on the safe side.

Can the insulator or washer or whatever you call it be reused or should I get some of those as well?

You can reuse the insulator, but go ahead and buy some as they have a habit of disappearing... They cost next to nothing.
