I recently upgraded to the Smok TCT tank with .15 ohm coils. I use this setup on the new Joyetech eVic VT mod (which I will write about in the mod forum).
Quality:
This product came in a very nice box with an extra tank, extra coil, and 2 extra sets of o-rings in red and black. The glass was clean and well cut, the stainless was machined very well and was not covered in machine oil. I still recommend that you wash everything in warm soapy water once just to be safe. All of the parts were solid and fit together with surgical precision. Once assembled the tank was very pleasing to look at and you can change the o-rings to match the color of your mod (or shoes if thats what you are into). I had no problems taking apart and reassembling the tank. The coils that came with the tank are .15 ohm nickel and as far as I can tell will last a few weeks at minimum. All in all this tank is everything you need for temp control.
Usage:
The threads are great and screw on buttery smooth and it sits pretty on my mod with no overhang. Its bottom fill and holds 5.5 ml of juice, refilling it is simple and easy and I dont see that changing with usage. Coil replacement is just as easy and everything seals up nicely. There is 2 giant adjuatable airflow slots on the bottom and a 3rd on the drip tip. Airflow overall is massive and is not restricted by the coil either. All of the airflow adjustments are smooth and have just enough resistance to feel like a premium device. The first time you assemble this tank after cleaning I suggest you put a few drops of juice on a q-tip and swab the bottom o-rings just to make sure they slide easily when you unscrew the bottom section to refill and/or change coils.
The Vape:
This tank produces immense flavors that I did not think possible until using this tank in temp control. I cannot explain to you how happy I am with this tank. The vapor production was awesome as well. You wont be winning any cloud competitions with it but you can definitely chuck some clouds with it. The coils have massive juice holes and quality Japanese organic cotton wicks that soak up even the thickest of juices. I chain vaped with max VG liquid and could not run her dry and burn cotton (partially due to temp control not letting me burn cotton). Not once did I experince any gurgling, spitting, or flooding and the tank did not whistle loudly while taking massive lung hits. This tank is now my daily driver and I love it.
Pricing:
I bought this tank for $23 and a 5 pack of .15 ohm coils for $12 from sweet-vapes.com and had no issues at all. I feel that for that price you are getting quality worth far more.
Conclusion:
Buy one. If you are beginning to get into temp control this is the perfect tank to get you going. The coils last for weeks and the flavors are stellar. If you are an intermediate or advanced vapor you can buy rebuildable tank atomizer (RTA) for this setup and build the perfect setups for your tastes.
These are all my personal opinions and experiences and should all be taken with a grain of salt. If your experiences vary then let us know here so we can get a balanced view. Have a great day!
