I bought the Smok TFV12 Prince tank using the Smok Alien mod and have been using it for a little while now. To start off, the tank comes with three coils, the Q4, X6 and T10 coils. I had already used those and had already purchased more X6 coils, which are the ones I like. I went through those, and the store I went to did not have any X6's in stock so I bought Q4's. I'm on the first coil, but ever since I put this new juice in it I've been getting a lot of excess juice and bubbling while vaping.
Last time I came across this issue it was because I wasn't breathing in all the vape and it started leaking (On my Smok V8 Stick.) I've since learned from my mistake. I had no issues with the stock Q4 coil when I first bought the tank, no issues with the X6 or T10. (It's not leaking)
Any ideas why I'd be getting excess juice while vaping with this one? Not to mention, the juice I put in it does not taste like it did when I had my last X6 in there. I can smell the flavour of the juice when putting my nose to the tip but I also smell something else and it's not a pleasant smell, nor is it a burnt smell. Believe me, I know what burnt smells and tastes like.
Q4 Coil - 3 days old, hardly vaped due to excess juice/bad smell/taste
Juice - Blueberry Kiwi by Sorbae 70/30 - Exp 04/19 - No taste issues with X6 coil previously used to Q4. Squeezing bottle to smell juice, confirmed does not smell like what I'm smelling inside the tank.
Tank - TFV12 Prince
Mod - Smok Alien 220w
Wattage - 60-70w no difference. Usually vape at 80w.
Note: Periodically cleaned once a month with warm filtered tap water and thoroughly dried.
