Is anyone else having problems with their x cube 2 especially updating it??

I did at first. When you download the updater and it says to press and hold the fire button, you have to keep this held throughout the rest of the update. Mine worked when I did this.

Did that held the fire bar in, still says no aprom? What the hell is an aprom? About ready to box this thing up and send it back! Smok is too busy rushing more unfinished new mods out and make the almighty buck, instead of bothering to help us with this one!! very irratating, but thanks anyway!
Yea, that's the same message I got too. Basically I installed the re-installed the uploader again, and followed the steps again, keeping the fire bar in through the whole process from the first step it tells you to press it in. I've read that some were having problems with this too, could be too that it's still in beta.
Thats too bad because I'm enjoying this mod now, but it sucks that you have to screw around with it so much to get it to do what you want to do. Temp control is working pretty good although I wish they would let you choose the wattage for temp mode instead of that soft, min, max bullshit. The way I look at it is I got a 160W mod for 57 bucks. If you decide to send it back, have a look a the DNA 200 TC, it's been getting some really good reviews. Hope it works out for ya.
