Smoke x8 stick issue

I just bought a x8 stick, mounted my Berserker RTA (0.58 resistance) and for some reason ohm's law is not working as it should I feel that the Wattage is WAY too much, it burning the coil and since this is a unregulated device, I don't know what to do...any ideas?

Welcome to VU. Return the stick if you can and get an adjustable wattage device.

What is your coil. size wire, etc.

steam-engine.org should help I tend to shoot for Heat flux of 200 at 10% OVER desired wattage. FWIW Wire size (or amount of wire) and Grade determines heating and temperatures....... OHM just determines electrical needs to achieve the desired heat.

Try adding a wrap or 2 next build..... more wrap will raise OHM and lower watts. BUT it will also make the coil heat slower and require more watts (power) to reach max temp.

The berserker is a low wattage low air flow atomizer.
Might do better around .75 or even higher.
I recall back in the day burning 'low resistance' 1.8 ohm clearo coils on an unregulated ego battery...
