LOL! I love it. Just looking over the notes. I played with this one. It was nice to see that there at least is a base recipe for this (sometimes my mind runs so fast I can't seem to put anything together right!). I might not know an exact starting point but I have an idea as to where to go with this. I have played with the cream charlotte and mixed at 1-2% taste like some thick butter milk...kind of yucky almost. I originally thought WTH am I going to do with this one. Thanks to the talk on this I now have figured that this is one to be used in "drops". It adds a mouthful and some creamyness. Its really good! Im also in love with the chocolate truffle...thank you very much smoky :)

Gee whiz, Smoky. For Pete's sake. A recipe is a FINAL AMALGUM OF INGREDIENTS. People MAKE THAT RECIPE and THEN ADJUST TO THEIR TASTES. WTF? It isn't helping anyone to throw out a recipe like: Ground Beef, Onion, Garlic, Pasta, Chicken Broth - with no freaking instruction on how to cook it, what method to use, or even how to start. Stating what percent to use as a starting point is the BEST way for people to get comfortable with flavors. If you think it's best for people to figure out their flavors FIRST, then SAY SO. TELL them that in order to make your recipe, they will need to do a whole bunch of leg work to make it happen. Some people NEED to know 1/2 cups, and TBSP, and TSP, and so on. They can't just build it in their head. I agree that people should know their flavors - I wholeheartedly agree with that. BUT, any NEW DIYer is looking for a complete recipe - one they can use to start immediately, and one that they can assume they'll enjoy because it's FINAL.

Yeah, I guess I'm just a "sheep"..but I'm not ordering ANYTHING unless I have some sort of base starting %'s. I mean I guess I'm starting to know my FA well enough to be able to to have an idea. But yeah...I thought when you post a recipe, it's what you like as a final product and anyone that tries it can adjust it more to their liking. I guess some people have the time & $ to waste to experiment that much..but I'm not gonna run all over hell ordering crap from multiple sites that I may not even like for a recipe with no info other than the flavors. Anytime I see something like this...read....aaaaaaaaand skip...LOL I'm sure Smoky's juice is great...but I don't know her at all, much less well enough to know her thought process when it comes to this stuff. And many of the recipes I've seen follow this pattern. I guess it's just meant for "non sheep" DIYers....I'll stay in the flock..LOL

Glad you are having fun playing with this, @juice junkie lover .. it is why.. after all.. it is DIY.. do it yourself ;)

As for the info for this, its long gone, as for the posters here that want to bitch, carry on.. Make it your way or not at all..
Personally, I find doing things for my self a lot better than following a trend..
I promised myself to never get bored, much less find a reason to bitch publicly..
That is why i pulled this recipe, to tinker with it, before my pc died, taking it away forever, and now I request for thread to be locked.

Thanks for the fun!

Generally, We don't close threads unless its a "sold" hardware/classified thread, or staff sticky:)
