SMY 170 TC

Got my new SMY 170 TC mod in today and so far, I love it. I topped it with a Joytech Delta II and man this thing is a beast. Love the black on black and the huge screen with all the information it gives you. I am so glad to have a dual 18650 Mod because the Koopor Mini is a battery hog especially in TC. I have ordered some TI coils for the Delta II and they should be here on Saturday. I am excited to try Titanium and the TC mode on my new Mod.

That looks pretty slick. What kind of batteries are you using in the Koopor? I vape exclusively in TC mode, and my battery life is FANTASTIC in all my mods ... I guess I'm just wondering if there is any chance that cheap batteries are the reason for the crappy battery life.

I'm using LGs in my mods, a D2, a VTC Mini, a KX-50D and the SMY 60w TC Mini. I get a full day of vaping out of any of them. Before I started using TC my battery performance was not nearly as good as it is with TC.

I used purple efest, even tried the 3100 mah but still went through the battery pretty quickly, Samsung 25 R's didn't last as long as the Efest. The Koopor Mini has an early battery voltage cutoff so you don't get the full use of your battery. It is a design flaw and I don't think they addressed it in the upgrade. I didn't bother with the upgrade because I will rarely use the Koopor Mini now that I have the SMY. With the Mini, I went through at least 3 batteries a day if I vaped a lot.

WOW! Even before I switched to TC I never went through that many batteries a day. Personally though, I would recommend a couple of the LG HG2s, 3000 mah and they last me a full day. I have not had good experiences with the eFest batteries, and I have heard quite a few complaints about them from other folks.

Thanks I will grab a couple. I have heard good things about them. I really want the SMY Mini 60 and will probably end up with one. I would gladly trade the Koopor Mini for one and put it on the Trade forum but no takers so far.

I really like the SMY Mini, but I hope the finish on the 170 is better. Mine started wearing along the edges from holding it, and as a result, it is slowly flaking off the more I use it. Don't get me wrong, it's NOTHING like the peeling finish of the IPV Mini2 (that one was AWFUL), but it is annoying. Get it in SS and you won't have to worry about it ... LOL
