Just got this thing, downloaded escribe, but escribe isn't registering that my device is connected at all. The mod will charge just fine through the computer, but that's it. If I try to do anything on escribe it just keeps telling me to connect a device. All I'm trying to do is change some things to save battery life like turn off the light behind the power button and make the screen go black while it's firing. I don't understand what's going on and it's very frustrating.

Make sure you're using a data capable USB cable.

I've tried using the cable that came with the mod and the cable that came with my cell phone. neither is working.

Make sure you are using the escribe that is for both the dna200 and dna75. The older version of escribe will only work for the dna200 so I have heard.

does this thing kill batteries faster than other mods? It seems like every time I take a good puff the battery % drops another point. Or is it just me because now i have a screen telling me what the battery % is at now?

For a single battery 18650 it is not bad for me. I try and use higher mah batteries like the LG browns that are 3000 mah or the samsung 30Q which is also 3000 mah. I did use my 2100 mah sony vtc and only got about 4 to 5 hours but that battery is also about 2 years old.

I have one of those and the red I think it's an he2? I can't remember off the top of my head. I think maybe it's just me since i've never had a screen telling me what the battery % is at. I'm sure now that I turned off that LED behind the button and made it so the screen isn't on constantly it'll help a lot.
