I'm beyond pissed. Due to a mistake by SOI, I'm having a hassle getting missing pieces together. The Vendor, I purchased the original from, sent me missing spare parts & Allen wrenches. However, once I received those and finally trying to do a build on it, I found out, that one post is missing a screw as well. Of course, it wasn't a part of the package sent by the vendor! Now, I've got a genuine Big Dripper, that I paid big bucks for, sitting here for more than two weeks, and I still can't use it! Fuck, I should have gone with a cheap clone instead!

I would demand the vendor send a completely new one no discussions just make it right. Of course return the crappy one they sent you. Get to your Credit Company and hold payment until its mde right, and if they dont give something extra for your problems never use em again.

Clone BDs work fine. There are no reasons to buy the expensive authentic, unless you want to buy American just because. And I see few reasons to prefer doing that either, to be frank.

The nice thing with clones is, when the product is messed up, your losses are limited. You can't return it or claim customer support (well, you could, but good luck with that), but on the other hand, you don't have to go through the misery and cost of customer support :)

I have a BD and honestly I wasn't overly happy with mine. I felt like the concept was very good but the machining IMO didn't work very well.

Meanwhile, the supplier replied to my email. They will send me a replacement, once they received the faulty one. They sent a separate email with a return shipping label.

I received my "replacement" Big Dripper V2 (funny, it had the same number on the outside bottom of the deck), a few days ago. This time, it had all the screws in it's posts. However, no Allen wrench, no spare parts AGAIN!!! I sent an email the same day to Grand Vapor Station, and never heard back. Meanwhile, for 3 days. Thus, no more business with Grand Vapor Station in the future!

Due to my other hobby R/C CP Helicopter, I have various high quality Torx screw drivers. I was able to utilize the T4x40, in order to tighten the screws on the posts. I did a dual coil build with a 24 gauge 7/6 wrap 2.5mm ID, coming out to a 0.32 Ohm. I filled the tank with my DIY Hibiscus 6mg/ml 80VG/20PG juice. Yum, yum! Excellent flavor and really nice clouds. Personally, I could use a bit more airflow. However, it's good enough for direct to lung hits. Now, I'll have to find out how it will do, when carried around (leaking?).
