There are some chips in the finish which can be seen in the pics. And, in the interest of full disclosure, I never got TC working to my satisfaction... or at least not as well as my Yihi and DNA TC mods. Others swear the VTC is the most accurate TC mod they've ever used. Anyway, I don't like it, at all. Whether it functions as intended or not, I can't say. It does work in all modes - VW, Ni, Ti, and bypass - it just doesn't run in TC modes like I thought it should. Again, other folks love this thing and swear it's the best budget TC mod on the market.
Firmware has been updated to v1.10.
